Resepi ni sesuai untuk makan malam atau waktu sejuk. Kombinasi rasa masam pedas dan aroma serai, daun limau purut serta halia memang membuka selera!

Bahan-bahan:

  • 5 ketul ayam – potong kecil
  • 3 cawan air
  • 1 batang serai – dititik
  • 2 hiris halia
  • 2 helai daun limau purut
  • 1 biji tomato – potong 4
  • 1 sudu besar sos ikan
  • Air perahan limau nipis
  • Garam, serbuk perasa, cili padi ikut suka
  • Daun ketumbar untuk hiasan

Cara-cara:

  1. Rebus ayam bersama serai, halia dan daun limau purut.
  2. Masukkan tomato, sos ikan & perasa.
  3. Masukkan cili padi dan jus limau nipis.
  4. Rasa dan sesuaikan masam, masin & pedas.
  5. Tabur daun ketumbar dan siap untuk dihidang!

Thai-Style Chicken Soup – Spicy, Sour & Aromatic

This soup is perfect for rainy days or light dinners. The balance of sour, spicy, and fragrant herbs makes it irresistible.

Ingredients:

  • 5 pieces chicken – small cuts
  • 3 cups water
  • 1 stalk lemongrass – bruised
  • 2 slices ginger
  • 2 kaffir lime leaves
  • 1 tomato – quartered
  • 1 tbsp fish sauce
  • Lime juice (to taste)
  • Salt, seasoning powder, bird’s eye chili (to taste)
  • Coriander leaves for garnish

Steps:

  1. Boil chicken with lemongrass, ginger and lime leaves.
  2. Add tomato, fish sauce and seasoning.
  3. Add chilies and lime juice.
  4. Taste and adjust sourness, saltiness and spiciness.
  5. Garnish with coriander and serve hot!
